RADIO SLAVE

Entrance fee: 10€
Start: 30/09/2023
We end this long hot summer with style, with a treat for all true fans of electronic music! Behind the decks we host the Berlin-based Londoner, and owner of iconic Rekids label, Radio Slave! An artist who paved the way for many, Radio Slave aka Matt Edwards has been one of dance music’s most respected producers and influential players. Rekids has been integral to the rise of artists like Mr G, Peggy Gou, Spencer Parker and Nina Kraviz. Matt Edwards is a man about all kinds of music - he has to be one of the scene most open-minded producers. You can discover him as a Chicago-influenced house maestro known as Matthew E; or through the muscular sound of Rekids; re-discover an entirely alternative and understated side of him with long-time studio partner Joel Martin, as Quiet Village; veer towards his pop-leaning side through Sea Devils.

🍬 We end this long hot summer with style, with a treat for all true fans of electronic music! 🔥

And then there’s Radio Slave, his most embellished name, with global acclaim stemming from early remixes for Paul McCartney and Elton John to club stomping reworks of Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and New Order’s ‘Blue Monday’. Radio Slave’s signature incendiary grooves have become a universal sound of love and power on the dance floor, and that is certainly to be expected from a man as deep in the music as Edwards. 🍬

Up&Down by our regular dancefloor troublemakers; Zookey and Toni Juranović. ⚡️
