A sailor by profession and a former officer of the deck, Markaya often says that he has always had a great passion and love for music, along with the sea that has followed him throughout his life, as well as surrounds him on his native island of Korčula.
For many years, he has worked tirelessly through various local DJ collectives and his own projects such as the “Lost in the Renaissance” festival, the somewhat more modest club evening “Tajne Svemira”, and more recently as co-owner of VHF Bar on Korčula to keep the island’s micro scene alive and interesting throughout the year!
Markaya will be accompanied and supported by the usual suspect and our resident DJ Zookey – founder of ‘Future Underground’ nights which promotes underground dance music on the island of Korčula micro scene & co-founder and resident of Pozor! Inkobrod, which is the longest-living underground event series on the island of Korčula.
